Investigators revealed that thieves across the United States now target distributors and carriers, accessing the IT systems of delivery companies to modify the order destinations. In a case, Florida police organized a delivery to Aventura. Three suspects arrived in a Bentley and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, expecting to pick up the keys of a Lamborghini Urus Orange. Instead, they were greeted by the police and quickly arrested.
The suspects were identified as Yuriy Korotovskyy, 41, Arman Gevorgyan, 53, and Hrant Nazarian, 43. They were placed in police custody and accused of large flight, trafficking in stolen goods and conspiracy to commit organized fraud. The authorities think that they were part of a wider network working with Armenian and Russian brokers to re -make high -end car deliveries.
Among the victims of this ring, Nader Eldamouni, of which Rolls-Royce Dawn was stolen during transport from southern Florida to Michigan. He alerted the flight police shortly after, they launched an investigation into the issue. However, the authorities have not yet located the car.

The authorities now advise owners of vehicle shipping cars across the country to install GPS follow -up systems on their cars before transporting. This simple precaution could make the difference between collecting your car or facing the frustration of a stolen exotic. Recently, a Houston resident informed 7news of a similar case involving the theft of his Ferrari 488 Pista, which was reachable and stolen in Miami.
While the police were already aware of this vehicle flight method, they have now highlighted their growing prevalence “in recent weeks”. So, if you plan to send a high -end vehicle anytime soon, it could be worth taking this additional step to protect it.
