Audi delivered more than 100,000 E-Trons in Q4 in 2024, making it a rare silver lining during a differently terrible year. Given its success, Audi widens the range to include a new “entry -level variant in large range”.
Scheduled for the order later this month, the new Q4 40 e-tron has a 63 kWh battery which feeds a rear mounted engine developing 201 HP (150 kW / 204 PS). This allows the crossing to accelerate from 0 to 62 MPH (0-100 km / h) in 8.1 seconds and on a top speed of 99 MPH (160 km / h). Customers can also expect to travel up to 263 miles (424 km) between charging sessions.

When it is time to reconstruct the battery, the owners will be grateful for the fast load capacity of 165 kW of the fourth KW. It allows the battery to go from 10 to 80% in as little as 24 minutes. If you are in a hurry by time, a ten -minute stop can be added up to 96 miles (155 km) of range.
Speaking of load, drivers now have the possibility of manually activating the preconditioning of the battery. This is a welcome change for drivers who do not rely on the navigation system and its previous battery function.
The German price starts at € 46,150 ($ 47,836), which is under considerably undermined € 52,950 ($ 54,885) Q4 45 e-tron. However, this model has a larger 82 kWh battery and a more powerful engine developing 282 hp (210 kW / 286 PS). That said, customers can also get an E4 Sportback 40 e-tron for € 48,150 ($ 49,904).
Audi did not say much about the equipment, but the multisgments have a group of digital instruments of 10.25 inch, GPS navigation and heated front seats. An electric tailgate is also standard, although a kick sensor is optional.
