  • Ferrari’s driver says he swerved to avoid another car and slammed a barrier on the highways.
  • The four wheels of the F8 were damaged and the front bumper took a blow.
  • The police who responded to the scene helped guide the Interstate 10 supercar.

You see strange things in Los Angeles and earlier this month, a Spider Ferrari F8 was seriously damaged in a city accident. Although this alone is not unusual given the number of exotics in Los Angeles, which is bizarre in this incident, is that the driver of the Italian exotic received the order to drive him out of the interstate 10 by the police, rather than waiting for it to be towed.

The incident occurred on February 2 around 5 am according to the driver of the Ferrari, he swerved while avoiding another car on the highway, but lost control of the Italian supercar and slammed in the concrete center separator.

The damage caused to the car is sufficient to make an adult man cry. We can see that the hood has been opened, the broken windshield and the two tires on the passenger side were put in its place. We can hear an officer ask the man if the car lights up and gets up. He triggers it quickly and is invited to drive it slowly at the exit of the nearest highway. It makes a really bizarre view.

Shortly after leaving the highway, we have a good overview of the damage caused to the driver’s side. The rear wheel was seriously folded and mutilated, the front bumper broken and one of the headlights was eliminated. The force of the impact was also sufficient to trigger the airbags.

It is not known if the driver of the car is also the owner, but whatever, he will probably have to spit an attractive sum to the car insurer. Is the F8 repairable? It is difficult to say without seeing it in person, but things like bumpers and wheels can be easily replaced. However, there is a good chance that it is still totalized, in particular if damage has been caused to expensive parts such as suspension and brakes.
