The Jeep Wrangler lost part of its brilliance and the Ford Bronco seems to eat in its sales while the American icon dropped by 3% last year, while its dearborn rival climbed 3.3%. However, the company does not drop without fighting because it has introduced a new special edition.
Known as Wrangler 4xe Backcountry, the model is based on the Sahara garnish and combines premium features with off -road upgrades. The latter are quite important because the four-door SUV has been equipped with steel bumper, rails and a Mopar goalkeeper. The special edition also rolls on unique 20 -inch wheels which are wrapped in 32 -inch general tires.

Style changes do not stop there because the Jeep has a rigid roof in body color and can be equipped with an available body power roof. Elsewhere, there are graphics from the hinterland on the hood, the wings and the rear swing door.
The interior changes are more modest because the sporting auxiliary switches of the hinterland, the Mopar melting snow carpets and an Alpine audio system of nine speakers. The model also has a 12.3 -inch UConnect 5 infotainment system with GPS trail guides as well as off -road guides.
To complete the reflections, the trailer towing package, a front trailcam and a jeep power box. The latter connects to the load port of the Wrangler and transforms the model into a massive food bank which includes two 120 volts.
Like the WRANGLER 4XE Standard, the special edition has a rechargeable hybrid motorcycle group which consists of a 2.0 -liter turbocharged four -cylinder engine, a 17.3 kWh battery and an eight -speed automatic transmission with an integrated electric motor. This configuration allows the model to produce 375 hp (280 kW / 380 PS) and 470 LB-PI (637 nm) of torque. Customers can also expect an electric range only about 22 miles (35 km).
Production will be limited to 5,800 units for North America and American prices start at $ 64,290. The model will also be available in Canada, where it costs $ 73,895 CAD.
