- Alpine is preparing for its expansion with the launch of the A390 on May 27.
- A teaser image of the crossroads was published before the beginnings.
- The production model includes a double -engine powertrain and a torque vectorization.
If you are looking for a new set of family size wheels but we fight to find something that really excites you, define a Siri reminder for May 27. A390, and if it looks like the concept that predicted it last year, it will be a Doozy.
The crossover with four low -bearing seats (Alpine prefers “Sport Fastback”) is the second of the three electric cars that make up the Alpine dream garage series, the others being the A290 Coty Winner A290 in 2024 and the new A110 still in Viens.
Related: how similar the A390 Alpine will be similar to the A390_β concept from last year?
Alpine published a single teaser image to go with the confirmation of the launch date, a silhouetté close -up of the nose revealing the frontal style, which appears very close to that of the concept A390_β. It shows a transverse light bar with the Alpine name spelled below, and 12 LED DRL in the shape of a triangle arranged together to form a larger triangle on each corner.
It also seems that the exhibition hall cars will keep the nose of the “flying bridge” seen on the concept in which the body section containing the light bar is higher than the hood attack edge, potentially for an aerodynamic effect .

Alpine had previously declared that the concept A390_β was 85% of the real thing, and our spy blows confirmed that the overall silhouette and the shape of the side window would be transported in the street practically. But a large part of the 15% of the exhibition car that you will not find at your alpine dealer later this year is located inside.
The A390_β concept had rear toy ride, no B or carpet pillar, and a set of chairs that seemed to be out of the company’s competitor. But the real thing will be considerably disinfected, while retaining a clear feeling of performance. We expect to see a lot of Alcantara, or something similar, and a lot of screen space too.

Under the skin is the Renault Group Ampr Medium architecture, previously known as the CMF-EV platform and used on cars like Renault Megane technology. If it seems disappointing, do not worry: Alpine says that the A390 will include a torque vectorization to maximize agility and could provide more than 600 hp (608 PS / 447 kW) in its most dynamic finish levels.
The A390 should be on sale in Europe at the end of 2025, but while Alpine plans to extend to the United States with greater crosses and seen, the A290 and the A390 will not make the trip.
