  • Maserati introduced an entry -level grancabrio with a 3.0 -liter double turbo V6.
  • It produces 483 hp allowing the convertible to reach 62 MPH in less than 4.0 seconds
  • The Trident brand has also introduced a unique model with unique paint work.

Maserati used the International Elegance St. Moritz competition to introduce an entry -level version of Grancabrio as well as a unique model based on the Grancabrio Trofeo. The latter is known as the ice and was created by the Maserati Fuoristerie personalization program.

From the entry-level variant, it has a 3.0-liter Turbo Nettuno V6 which produces 483 hp (360 kW / 490 PS) and 442 LB-PI (600 Nm) of torque. Thanks to the all-wheel drive and what we assume is an automatic transmission with eight-speed, the Grancabrio can accelerate from 0 to 62 MPH (0-100 km / h) in 3.9 seconds and on a top speed of 188 MPH ( 302 km / h).

Plus: Topless Maserati Grancabrio made its debut with 542 HP V6 Thrils

Maserati was shy on the details, but the model is equipped with LED headlights and an air suspension as well as 20 and 21 inch staggered wheels. The perforated four -seater perforated leather seats as well as a group of 12.2 -inch digital instruments, a 12.3 -inch infotainment system and an 8.8 -inch comfort display.

Prices and equipment will vary depending on the market, but the Italian version starts at € 169,600 ($ 177,440) and offers an assortment of options. The key among them is a Sonus Premium audio system, a head -up display and a comfort pack that adds ventilated front seats, a homelink and a wind deflector.

Passing through the unique Grancabrio Trofeo, it is dedicated to “winter charm” and has an exterior to a unique liquid tri-coat which recalls a frozen lake. This effect is amplified by brilliant white accents as well as forged wheels which are saved by shiny blue brake calipers.

To complete the reflections are a flexible blue navy top and an ice interior with contrasting black accents. This last aspect is taken up by a carbon fiber garnish.

Since it is based on the Grancabrio Trofeo, the unique model has an improved Nettuno V6 producing 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS) and 479 LB-PI (650 Nm) of torque. This reduces time from 0 to 62 MPH (0-100 km / h) to 3.6 seconds, while increasing top speed to 196 MPH (316 km / h).

Aside from the two new cars, Maserati has announced minor changes for the Grand Tourers. The Grancabrio color palette has been “reworked and extended”, while the Trofeo coupe and the convertible can be equipped with a new sports exhaust system from Mars. The latter promises “more pure and more fueled by Adrenaline” sounds.
