The customer in question has published anonymously on his experience on a Facebook cybertruck band. “Is it just my truck?! They haven’t said anything (sic) to do about it. Is it normal? Only on the driver’s side, ”they wrote. Their comment was specifically referred to in the response they obtained at their request.

In the service center document, the customer details his complaint. “The sound of the wind – I already serve this problem and I said it was standard. After driving your loan, I found that the noise in my car is much stronger than in others. They had tested another Cybertruck and found it significantly quieter, confirming that noise was not only a jerk of the model but a specific problem with their vehicle.

This is where the band comes into play. The technology that works on it indicates in the document that they checked that it was a problem. However, due to the “body adjustment specifications”, no adjustment to the panels is possible. Technology noted that “noise heard is a normal air turbulence which is expected with higher speed. Honestly, I can see where the service technician comes from here. They have no other way to satisfy the customer and the gaps or the transitions of the scotting panel is a proven and effective means of eliminating a little wind noise. I did it to my own Ford Flex on a few worn finish parts a month ago. It works quite well and is difficult to spot when it is done well.
