- This Road Road Road Road Road Road Road, modified by Koenig, could sell nearly $ 200,000 at auction.
- The wild fiberglass body panels on the 911 turbo are a pure excess of the 80s and extravagance.
- The 3.3 -liter double turbocharger engine of the 911 now produces between 473 hp and 542 hp.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Koenig Specials acquired the reputation of transforming European sports cars and Supercars into returns to the head. Among their most flamboyant creations, there was the 930 Porsche 911 Turbo Road Runner, and an example has now come at auction thanks to large auctions of arrows. It is expected to sell between $ 170,000 and $ 190,000.
Koenig had no interest in keeping the historically discreet looks of the Porsche 911 Turbo, rather manufacturing a custom -made fiberglass body which can still cause some necks. This new kit includes a well -revised front fairing with a new nose cone, personalized quarter panels and headlights raised from a Porsche 928. The sides are particularly bizarre, with bulbous ventilation mouths and wildly sculpted rear arcs. Although part of the body one seems to have been melted after sitting in the sun a little too long, it is undeniable that this thing is dramatic.

At the back, Koenig added a huge duck tail spoiler with a set of Audi 200 turbo headlights. The car is finished in classic guards in red. Even if the crazy style does not win you, it is difficult to challenge some of the mechanical upgrades performed.

Koenig modified the beach to six turbocharged 3.3 liters, which allows it to provide between 473 hp and 542 hp as a function of boost pressure, more than double the original output power of the 911 turbo. New transversal and ventilated brakes have also been added, as well as a front force leg splint, reinforced anti-roll bars and bilstein shocks. A new exhaust system completes key changes.
Inside, the road runner has a champagne -colored leather pad that has aged over the years. According to the list, the car has traveled 24,253 km (15,070 miles) and has undergone a full engine service in January, which costs more than $ 20,000.
