  • Wald offers one of the craziest adjustment packages for the Land Cruiser Prado.
  • The bodykit includes wide wings, custom bumpers and an extended roof.
  • The tuner also previewed a slammed version with different wheels.

Wald International launched all restrained by the window with its new “Desert Black Bison Edition series” for Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. The changes are so extensive that they make the all -terrain icon look like Japan’s response to the G Brabus class – if the G -class had a serious identity crisis.

After teasing the world with renderings last year, Wald unveiled the real business to the Osaka Auto Messe 2025. Although the original conceptions included both a raised version and a slammed version, we have only seen the raised version come to life so far.

Plus: Toyota Land Cruiser 250 wins robust looks and even a motorhome kit by Japanese tuners

The Black Bison edition is, not surprisingly, everything on aggressive visuals. It has a personalized bumper with complex intake, additional DRLs and an aluminum jump plate. The addition of look is a large hood scoop and an additional module mounted on the aerodynamic roof, with fins and integrated LEDs.

The lateral profile obtains a serious flair, thanks to large extensions of wings which shelter the new costaulia wheels wrapped in tires on mud. This particular construction also benefits from a rise kit and wider tracks to further improve its presence on the road and its off -road capacities.

By moving to the back, Wald added a sports bumper with a diffuser and decorative vents on the wings, and a wing mounted on the rear spout which, frankly, feels a bit out of words.

The street -oriented version which only exists in the digital field still takes things with larger wheels wrapped in performance tires and a lowering kit. Of course, this would considerably hinder the off -road chops of Prado, but let’s be honest: there is certainly a crowd that likes the idea of a “hard” SUV which can barely erase a slowdown speed.

Plus: the Wald Toyota Hilux Black Bison edition seems to be able to eat a Ford Ranger for breakfast

There is not yet a word on performance upgrades, although those looking for more growls can always find ways to justify the hybrid, petrol or diesel engine (depending on your market).

Wald has not published any price details for the Desert Edition Black Bison Kit for the Land Cruiser Prado, or has mentioned availability outside Japan. But if you have itchy for a similar kit, Wald has already deployed one for the Land Cruiser 300 series. So, at least you have options … if you are really in this kind of thing.
