- The Ford reminder storm includes software fixes for several models, including F-150 and Corsair.
- The Maverick sees five reminders, with software errors requiring other fixes on the units recalled.
- More than 18,000 Ecosport models face reminders due to the poorly inserted half-pits causing rollaways.
Well, Ford has one of these days. Eight reminders fell in one go. It’s true, not one, not two, but eight Reminders, all for various problems, of half-puite software errors that were not properly inserted. Although the car manufacturer insists on the fact that it works to improve quality and limit reminders, it has been determined that several popular models have problems that must be resolved, many of which come from previous reminders. No less than five of these actions involve the Ford Maverick, so let’s start with them.
Maverick Mania: five reminders, a model
The most important reminders related to the Maverick has an impact on 933 trucks built between August 20, 2021 and October 9, 2023. These vehicles, already recalled for a problem with the cluster of digital instruments not displaying key information related to security, now need another correction. Ford says that some of the assigned vehicles have not installed the appropriate software update the first time. Consequently, the owners will have to bring their trucks to the dealer for an update.

THE second sentenced to a non-command Impact only two unique units built between March 9, 2022 and April 25, 2022. As before, these vehicles were to be fixed during a previous recall, but the update of the control module of the powertrain did not work as planned. More specifically, he failed to detect changes in the 12 -volt battery load, which could cause the powertrain stalling. Again, these vehicles need another update with the right software.

THE Reminder of the third mastiff Affects 141 units made between August 18, 2021 and October 6, 2022. These trucks have not been properly updated after a previous reminder to solve a problem with stop lights. The problem was that the stop lights could light up even if the driver did not apply the brakes. Again, Ford asks the owners to bring their vehicles back for another software update.
The owners of all the Maverick models affected by this recall will be informed by Ford from April 14, 2025.

More Mavericks, plus the F series, Escape and Corsair reminders
Still not over with the Maverick? There is more. The compact truck is also one of two larger recall actions that have an impact on a range of other Ford models.
The first reminder of this group affects 10,627 vehicles, including the 2021-2022 Ford F-150, 2022 Ford Maverick and models such as expedition, Lincoln Navigator and F-SERIES Super Duty Trucks. These vehicles were previously repaired under a recall (22V-193) involving a software problem which prevented electric or electric brakes on hydraulics on the towed trailers from working properly. Ford will now update the integrated trailer band brake control module software for the owners. Notifications for this recall will be released on April 14, 2025.
The next recall implies 207 units of 2022-2024 Maverick, 2022 Escape and 2021-2022 Lincoln Corsair. These vehicles were part of a previous reminder (24V-330), but the Hybrid PowerTrain Module (HPCM) software has not been updated correctly. This software could pass the vehicle unexpectedly to neutral, resulting in a loss of driving power. Again, the owners concerned will be informed by Ford from April 14.
Mach-E and F-150 Lightning Reminders
By switching to electric vehicles, Ford recalls 950 units of the 2022-2024 F-150 Lightning. The recall is due to a manufacturing defect in high voltage battery cells, which could cause an internal short circuit. Until the problem is solved, Ford advises owners to limit the load to 80%. The dealers will inspect and replace the high voltage battery table if necessary, free of charge. Letters of notification will be sent to the owners on March 17, 2025.

In addition, 234 Mustang Mach-E The multisgments, built between May 2020 and May 2022, are recalled because the main high -voltage battery connectors have not been properly fixed during a previous recall. These vehicles must be brought back for a software update to avoid overheating of connectors.
Ecosport problems
Finally and above all, Ford recalls 18,648 Ecosport Models built between April 1, 2021 and July 20, 2022. The problem here is that the half-pastas before may not have been properly inserted into the transmission, which could cause the vehicle rolling, even if it is in the park. Ford plans to inform the owners of this recall on April 7, 2025 and asked them to bring their vehicles to the dealerships, where the half-arbres will be inspected and replaced if necessary.
