- Geely’s ZEEKR brand has teased its 9X flagship size SUV.
- The large is accompanied by the British Range Rover and will cost about $ 138,000.
- Zeekr will reveal the 9x Grand Shanghai Auto Show in April.
Since its beginnings in 2021, Zeekr, belonging to Geely, has exclusively built and sold electric cars. But now it adds a rechargeable hybrid power to its portfolio with the launch of the 9x large.
A flagship SUV which should cost around 1 million yen ($ 138,000) when it is sold in China this fall, the 9x Grand made its official debut at Shanghai Auto Show in April. But with a few more weeks before this revelation, Zeekr teased the Rival Range Rover with certain images and a video taken during winter tests.

We do not yet know the exact dimensions for the 9x, but you can simply say by looking at the images which is a beast, a SUV of the full size full that will terrify any driver who suddenly finds one in his mirror.
The images show a body form that seems to be inspired by luxury SUVs like the Range Rover and Rolls Royce Cullinan. The flush door handles keep the clean sides and the nose includes double-bridge headlights and a grille, we think we have a lot in common with the one loaded with chromium on the 009 mini-gauge of Zeekr.
To judge by the length and the width, the 9x large – and an even larger version of the 9x – will give passengers a lot of space to relax, but will have trouble integrating into regular parking spaces. But a Lidar sensor above the windshield suggests that the SUV will have a lot of driver assistance technology to help tighten it in the berries and make motor training less demanding.
Zeekr’s expertise is in the field of electric vehicles, but it recently merged with Lynk & Co, a brand with PHEV know-how. The way in which the 9x plug-in system will be configured is not yet known, but a high-speed petrol engine and at least a few electric motors seems likely. We expect at a time of zero of less than 4 seconds to 60 MPH (97 km / h) and at least 60 miles of pure electric range.
Do you think that Western luxury brands should be concerned that China is entering the high-end SUV market, or icons like the Range Rover safely? Let a comment and let us know.
