The old adage “never buys another project of a man” is generally true, unless this project is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air with a monstrous turbocharged Diesel. Meet him HellA seven year old love work that combines classic style with absurd amounts of couple.

Under the hood is a 6.6-liter V8 Diesel Diesel Duramax V8, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox and sending more than 1,000 lb-ft (1,254 nm) of torque to the rear wheels. Oh and there is still one thing; You can buy it.

Built for power, not for the less hearts

This private Chevrolet project took the owner to the seven -year -old owner. He started with a restoration of addresses in Phoenix, Arizona. The manufacturers of American Legends Hot Rod and Muscle Cars chose a 6.6 -liter Duramax LMM V8 as a motorcycle group. It was not a standard or recovered engine either.

It was built and settled by Hausmann’s Diesel Performance. According to the list, the V8 powered by the diesel produces 634 horsepower (472 kW) and 1,098 lb-pi (1,487 nm) of torque. In support of this outing, there are ARP studs, a CP3 Stroker fuel pump, diamond pistons and a 68 mm fleece performance turbo. The delivery of the power to the bell-air wheels is a ZF six-speed manual gearbox associated with a stadium clutch 3 cryo-grey of South Bend.

Style to match the muscle

This chevy does not only concern “go” either. There are a lot of “show” to delight spectators. The paint is Cadillac Black Diamond and the cabin padding is in crimson red. The body is devoid of door handles, emblems, hood rockets, wing lighters and its garnish in the upper neighborhood of origin. The look is the one that clearly stands out even in a host of other classic cars and restaurants.

The cabin is also updated with the vintage air climate, electric windows, personalized Dakota digital gauges, a hidden Bluetooth sound system with 12 JL audio speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer. A steering wheel of billet specialties looks at the driver. It is really an amazing construction in every sense of the word.
