- The EV obtains the modern solid design language of the Vision 7S concept.
- Skoda targets SUVs like Kia EV9 with the Kodiaq size model still unknown.
Skoda had its best exercise in 2024 and the Czech company is not about to withdraw its foot from the accelerator. On the same day, Skoda revealed his record profit of 2.3 billion euros ($ 2.51 billion), he published teaser of an electric SUV to come next year.
Of course, being the most expensive Skoda of all time, the SUV – potentially called “space” – should be a production version of the 7S 2022 vision, a concept that has presented us the modern solid design language that has since made its way on the new epiq.

But the new model will be much larger than this small SUV, probably around the same size as the current combustion kodiaq, which is the most expensive and expensive model of the brand. Offering space for seven passengers, the new EV will take tastes from Kia Ev9 and Hyundai Ioniq 9.
The three teaser images are dark fronts of the front and rear, plus a close -up of the quarter back, and do not reveal the lateral profile or the details of the grille. But from what we can see of the hood, the rear hatch, the pillar D and the front and rear LED lights in the shape of a T, it looks a lot like a major epiq. We have already spied on the SUV during the full camouflage test; We have included these photos at the bottom of this post as well as a co -op rendering suggesting what the SUV could look like when it comes to the street.
Skoda is expected to rely on the VW MeB EV platform experienced for the new SUV, and on the basis of the previous comments of Skoda, it should measure around 192.9 inches (4.9 meters) long or 9.8 inch (250 mm) more than the ENYAQ of the company.
Meb Tech would allow Skoda to offer simple and double -engine powertrain groups to maintain the input price low enough to remain faithful to the brand’s value ethics – the EV9 range also starts with a unique RWD model. The 7S concept has promised a 373 miles WLTP range (600 km), which is much better than the promises of 293 miles (472 km) for the Buzz Id.buzz, which is based on the same MeB platform.
Skoda delivered 936,600 cars in 2024, up 6.9% in annual shift and the arrival of this large electric SUV in 2026 could help push the brand to the millions of hosts for the first time in its history.
