Xpeng G6 updated prices start at $ 24,400 in China, undercoating its Tesla Model Y rival

The all -electric Xpeng G6 has only been available in certain markets for a few years now, and already a strongly updated version has been launched in China. The 2025 G6 is very similar to the model it replaces, but it brings several important upgrades which make it an even more convincing rival Tesla Model.
This year, the three versions of the G6 are equipped with new 5C ultra-rapid loading batteries and an electrical architecture of 800 volts. Xpeng says that the batteries only need 12 minutes to be billed from 10 to 80% and that after being connected for only 10 minutes, the EV can obtain an impressive 280 miles (450 km).

The new Xpeng batteries also work better in cold conditions, taking a touch in more than 15 minutes to load them from 10 to 80%, when it is at -30 degrees Celsius. A new armor is rolled up around the battery and would be able to withstand temperatures up to 1000 ° C and can support up to 80 tonnes of pressure during the secondary impacts.
Although the Chinese brand has not published details on the capacity of the batteries available, data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies indicate that the Max Ultimate 625 edition in long range and 625 MAX Ultimate Edition have a 68.5 kWh pack, while the flagship pack 725 Ultra-long Range Max Edition has a pack of 80.8 kWh. As you may have guessed, the “625” models have 388 miles (625 km) of range, while the “725” can travel 450 miles (725 km) on a single load.

The supply of the three models is a single electric motor on the rear wheels, producing 292 hp and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. The 2025 Xpeng G6 can reach 100 km / h (62 MPH) in 6.3 seconds respectable and amounts to 125 MPH (202 km / h).
All G6 models are delivered with the Turing AI intelligent driving system which includes several cameras, millimeter wave radars and ultrasonic radars. Two new colors have also been added to the range – Starry Purple and Beige Cloud.
Updates made in the G6 cabin include a 9 -inch digital rear view mirror and new front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions.
Chinese prices start at 176,800 yuan (~ $ 24,400) for the basic model, go to 186,800 yuan (~ $ 25,800) for the mid -range version, and end at 198800 yuan (~ $ 27,500) for the flagship 725 model.
