  • The next ZEEKR 9X Grand will be the first model of the brand with a level 3 system.
  • The driving aid system uses powerful Nvidia and Lidar fleas.
  • Zeekr also adds autonomous parking in the range.

Only one month after the first manufacturer of Chinese electric vehicles byd announced its new suite of driver assistance systems, the ZEEKR belonging to Geely launched its intelligent driving program. The ZEEKR solution, available in several different levels, will be added to existing models via a live update in the coming months.

All versions of the system, nicknamed G-Pilot, include a general automated escape system (G-AES) and smart carpace vehicle driving capacities (V2P). The G-AES system uses a large AI formation model and allows “continuous evasive maneuvers for unexpected obstacles” to speeds up to 81 MPH (130 km / h).

Meanwhile, ZEEKR’s smart driving system allows their electric vehicles to automatically search for empty parking spaces and to park independently. The next 9X Grand Zeekr will be based on these systems with even greater capacities.

The G-Pilot system will be standard in the company’s next luxury flagship SUV and will be independent at level 3 and is propelled by the AGX Thor Dual Nvidia Drive fleas. Like the assisted driving systems of Tesla, Zeekr says that its G-Pilot suite will evolve and improve throughout the lifespan of its electric vehicles. This level 3 system will also allow the car to behave from one destination to another, without a pilot entry.

ZEEKR 9X

While many details on the 9X remain a mystery, recent teasers show that it will be a large SUV of size similar to the Range Rover and Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Not only will this be the largest and most luxurious model of the brand, but it will also be the first to use a rechargeable hybrid powered powered group. We know little about this powertrain, but it will probably include a lively petrol engine and at least two electric motors and could be identical to the Lynk & Co 900 linked to mechanics.

In the LYNK & CO 900 base, a 1.5 -liter turbocharged engine is associated with a front engine of 215 hp and a rear engine of 308 hp, which allows a combined 710 hp. A pair of 2.0 -liter turbocharged four -cylinders is also offered, with a 724 HP combined and the even more impressive second of 845 hp.
