- Tesla will no longer have any presence at the Vancouver Auto Salon this month.
- The event organizers decided that the brand was a security risk after demonstrations.
- It was deleted after omitting to act on multiple opportunities to withdraw.
The recent wave of attacks on cars and Tesla exhibition rooms continues to have a negative effect on the business of the automaker. The organizers of the Vancouver Auto Show for this month announced yesterday that they started the EV brand of the range due to security problems.
It seems that the show was concerned that the presence of Tesla vehicles during the event, which begins today, could attract angry demonstrations and other attacks by vandals. Having decided that he wanted Tesla, the VIAC gave the brand multiple opportunities to withdraw its own terms, which it refused.

Thus, with Tesla vehicles already in place at the Vancouver Convention Center ready for 130,000 visitors expected to be embarrassed, the organizers opted for the nuclear option only one day before the opening of the show.
“The Vancouver Auto International Salon deleted Tesla … After the car manufacturer had several opportunities to withdraw voluntarily,” said Eric Nicholl, executive director of the Auto Fair, in a statement, as reported by the Vancouver Sun. “The main concern of Vancouver Auto Show is the safety of participants, exhibitors and staff.”
The images taken by the Vancouver Sun show a Cybertruck, the 3 model and a lift model in the exhibition hall. Spectators will now have to settle for nearly 200 additional vehicles from other brands, including GM, Ford and Toyota, who will remain on site.

The VIAC had already taken a flak for having allowed Tesla to display cars due to the close relationship of CEO Elon Musk with American President Donald Trump, who slapped the prices on imported goods from Canada. Musk, like Trump, also questioned Canada’s sovereignty.
Teslas and Tesla exhibition halls through the United States were targeted by angry demonstrators for Musk’s work for Trump, which has caused thousands of federal employees to lose. Trump and the United States Attorney General Pam Bondi labeled the perpetrators of domestic terrorists and promised a “serious consequence” for any person found guilty of crimes against Tesla.
