- The QX65 will make its debut as an alternative with two more sporty rows at the Crossover QX60.
- It should have an elegant design with divided headlights and a black grille.
- It will probably offer a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, offering 268 hp and 286 LB-PI.
The Infiniti QX50 and its brother Coupé-Crossover, the QX55, are both deleted later this year. Although it does not seem that the QX50 is directly replaced, Infiniti is already preparing to introduce a new model to take the place of the QX55, and it will bear the name QX65.
This upcoming crossover will wear a coupé -shaped roof line, and after seeing during a recent series of tests (camouflaged, of course), a set of rendering has now surfaced to give us an overview of what it could look like.

The QX65 should make its debut at the end of 2025 or at the beginning of 2026 as a 2026 model for the North American market. It will serve as an alternative to two more sporty rows in the QX60, which is also defined for a refreshment. The QX65 will probably share the same foundations as the QX60, the two being built at the Nissan Smyrna, Tennessee factory. This is a key point, because the outgoing QX50 and QX55 are both assembled in Mexico, making it potential targets for prices if the policies proposed by the Trump administration are put into force.
Design choice

These artist’s renderings Nikita Chuyko for Kolesa are based on recent prototype observations that we shared a few weeks ago. They show the QX65 with divided headlights almost identical to those of the largest QX80. They consist of narrow LED daytime fires at the base of the hood, while the main headlights are positioned vertically, lower on the fascia. A large, but elegant grille is also presented in these renderings, adding to the premium look of the new crossover coupe.
Plus: the next GR86 of Toyota could be a Mazda collaborated with a turbo
The sides of the QX65 will be dominated by curves and folds, supplemented by very attractive triangular rear side windows. We also love the rear a lot represented in these images, sporting a spoiler extending from the roof, complex LED rear lights and a light bar. Overall, it looks great, and we cross our fingers that the production model ends up being as well.
Interior expectations

Although we did not see the interior of the QX65 prototypes, we took a look at one of the QX60 lift testers that rose next. Given the similarities between the two models, it is very likely that the QX65 will share a similar interior (although slightly updated). This would probably include a double configuration of 12.3 inch: one for the cluster of digital instruments and another for the infotainment system, upgrade to the latest version.
Turbocharrated motorcycle group
What else do we have to wait impatiently for the QX65? Well, like the 2026 QX60 updated, it will probably be offered exclusively with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder pumping of 2,0 liters of 268 hp and 286 LB-PI (387 nm) of torque, while Infiniti has dropped the 395 HP 3.5-liter V6 engine from last year’s beach. The engine will be coupled to an automatic transmission at nine speeds, leading either the front or optional wheels, the four wheels.
Battle in full swing
The luxury division of Nissan is a bit narrow at the moment. Last year, Infiniti sold only 58,070 vehicles in the United States, a drop of 10.2% compared to the 64,699 which he moved in 2023. The QX55, in particular, did not make favors to the brand’s results, with falling sales of 31.3% at only 3,721 units. Although these figures are certainly not impressive, Infiniti always knows how to design an attractive vehicle. If the QX65 can keep its promise, it may well help turn around for the brand and put some additional cars in the aisles.
