Only one of them has a chance to obtain a direct successor in the near future

- Four Mazda models were reportedly interrupted by the end of 2025.
- The death corridor includes multisgments, sedans, wagons and even a hatch.
- Unsurprisingly, only the SUV should receive a successor in the future.
The future Mazda programming promises to be exciting, with a new generation of the popular CX-5 and a current hybrid rotary sports car. But do not get too attached to some of its current models, because several are sent to the large court of parasites in the history of the automobile, the production scheduled before the end of 2025.

Cars on the blockage include Mazda2 Supermini, the SUV Sub-corporation CX-3 closely related, the Mazda6 sedan and the MX-30 fully electric crossroads.
The MX-30: A quick disappearance
The first is the MX-30, the very first Mazda production electric vehicle, as reported Creative Trend. He doesn’t go out exactly with a blow. To end the production in March 2025, the electric MX-30 with battery has never found its sole on the market. With a high price and a range that has barely exceeded the local store, he had a hard time attracting attention. And although it is relatively new – five years old – the car will not even obtain an update in the middle of the cycle, not to mention a second generation.
However, the Rotary Range-Extrander version of the MX-30, the E-Skyactiv R-EV, will live for the moment, so don’t worry, Rotary fans, there is still a ribbon of hope for you. But Mazda’s first attempt to an electric vehicle could be in conformity with the mind as an experience that has gone a little too far from the rails.

Mazda2: the end of an era (maybe)
Then, Mazda2 aging, which approaches its end. The current generation of this little tailgate made its debut in 2014 and received facelifts in 2019 and 2023. Its last update occurred in 2024, when it obtained a new infodivement system for the Japanese market. However, these updates do not seem to be sufficient to continue, because Mazda would have planned to eliminate it before the end of 2025.

Unfortunately, there is no word on a direct successor to the most affordable Mazda model in Japan. The only index is a brand deposit for the Mazda2e name, which could be used for a future entry -level electric vehicle.
Mazda may move away from the supermini segment for a few years, pushing buyers to the next little cross (more about it later). However, European customers can still enter the Mazda2 hybrid, which is essentially a re -defined version of the Toyota Yaris.
The CX-3: the SUV that could have been
The Mazda CX-3, the subcompact SUV which continues mainly unchanged since 2014, will also meet in September 2025. Despite a facelift in 2018 and a handful of other adjustments over the years, the CX-3 has struggled to maintain relevance in an evolutionary market. It has already been abandoned in North America and Europe, but it remains available in Japan and selecting Asian markets.

Fortunately for Mazda fans, a CX-3 successor seems to be under development. The model appeared in official sketches of teaser earlier this year, revealing a compact imprint and a fresh style with a nose inspired by the CX-5 and a coupé-Suv position. We also know that the new generation of the small SUV will be made in Thailand, although it is not clear when it will make its debut and that it will be available in Europe or Japan.
Mazda6: the sedan that was just a little too late
Finally, we have the Mazda6 sedan, a long -standing essential in the Mazda range which is also ready to leave the stage on the left. The current generation, introduced in 2012, has seen some facelifts over the years, but has never managed to win the traction he needed to follow market trends. Mazda6 declared goodbye in North America in 2021, farewell to the United Kingdom in 2023 and was chopped from Japan in 2024. Now, it was also removed from the Australian market for not having respected certain regulations.
Plus: Mazda6 focused in Australia, one of the few places where it was still available
But don’t cry the Mazda6 yet. While Mazda has put aside the plans for a new internal combustion engine sedan, the entirely electric 6th will serve as an indirect successor from 6 in Europe and the United Kingdom. This model based in Changan is already available in China under the name of Mazda EZ-6, offering both Range-Extender and EV Full motorcycle groups.
