Detroit county police in Macomb arrested a 24 -year -old man for allegedly stolen up to 1.5 million dollars of Cadillac Escalade V models to GM business field. This is not Deon Brooks’ first brush with the law, because he also faced the Court for having allegedly stole a vehicle to a Chevrolet dealership and flee the police at the beginning of 2024. Obviously, the appeal of a new GM vehicle has proven to ignore it for him.
On March 11 of this year, Brooks was arrested following an in -depth investigation led by the Auto Macomb flight team, the Warren police service and the Sheriff’s office of the County Sheriff of Macomb. Local authorities began investigating the case in December 2024 after Brooks made its debut with several Cadillac models from a GM dealer.

According to the Detroit Free Press, these vehicles were either new corporate loan cars, or while waiting for shipping to dealers when Brooks torn them off. A spokesperson for the local sheriff office, Jennifer Putney, said the thief would have made his debut with expensive Cadillac Climbing V models, but had not said if he had stolen from other vehicles to total the $ 1.5 million of cars that have been taken. The price of climbing V starts from $ 159,995 in the United States.
Brooks went to court earlier this month, where he pleaded not guilty to a single accusation of leading a criminal business, which leads to a maximum sentence of 20 years. His deposit has been set at $ 2 million, but even if he has this deposit, he will have to wear a GPS attachment if he is released from prison.

Steal and sell
The police said that the man restored vehicles with cloned wine numbers, then sold them out of the state for profit. They seized printers from him alongside retagging equipment, fraudulent SOS documents, jewelry, a pacifica chrysler and methamphetamine.
As mentioned, Brooks is no stranger to the law. He was arrested on February 29, 2024, after stealing a vehicle from the Heidebreicht Chevrolet dealer and fleeing the police. The police disabled the car with a band of spikes and Brooks tried to flee on foot before being caught.
He would also have stolen vehicles in Serra Cadillac. He was accused of carrying out a criminal business for his alleged involvement in these flights, as well as driving an engine vehicle illegally and three conspiracy managers to initiate illegal driving of an engine vehicle.
