There are restaurants, then there are the types of constructions that make you reconsider what a vintage car can be. Totem Automobili falls downright in this last category. You may not know the little Italian outfit, but it builds one of the most amazing restaurants based on Alfa Romeo on the planet. This is called GT Super, and the latest version to get out of their workshop is this one, nicknamed “Jarama”.
This particular construction takes its name from the historic circuit of Jarama, where a victory of GTA Junior 1300 won an exhausting 4 -hour race during the European 1972 European car championship. Like each GT Super, the Jarama is a head shoot, but it stands out with several custom keys that are not found on the 40 other examples of Totem Plans to produce.

The GT Super Jarama presents the totem carbon fiber body, finished in a deep Bluvino paint which leans more classic than flashy. Totem adds to exclusivity with CNC side badges which combine the emblem of Cloverleaf of Alfa Romeo with the “Jarama” script.
Connolly Cognac leather on the seats, headliner and side panels. The Italian firm also added two vintage chronographs Tag Heuer on the passenger side in tribute to “the golden era of the race anyway the chronometer was a manual and analog operation”. The rest of the cabin is finished in aluminum and carbon fiber designed in an expert manner. A magnificent gear lever closed with an exposed connection mechanism is also presented.
The supply of the GT Super is a Double Turbocharger V6 of 2.8 liters developed by Italtecnica. This engine has six individual accelerator bodies, direct injection and port fuel, four valves per cylinder, and it is 591 hp (441 kW) at 7,200 rpm and 516 lb-pi (700 nm).
The Italian company also offers a more powerful version of this engine with 739 hp (551 kW) and 627 LB-PI (850 Nm), although a plate in the cabin of this GT Super reveals that it has 670 hp. The closed six -speed manual is the only transmission option, sending power through the rear wheels via a limited slip differential.
Totem has not made a price on this specific version, but if you should know, the GT Super starts at € 539,000 (around $ 584,000 at current exchange rates) in its most basic form. Of course, it is before you start adding personal options and keys, which can easily send the final bill north of $ 700,000. At this point, it is less a car and more a carbon fiber flexion with a gear lever.
