- Only 99 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato shooting brakes were built for some customers.
- Only 11 examples of this rare shooting obstacle of $ 877,000 arrived in the United States.
- This example of a mid-thousand is painted black and has been hunted only 3,500 miles from the new one.
Design a really balanced car – the one that seems as striking about vision of vision as from the front – is a challenge that many car manufacturers are politely bypassed. Zagato, however, relied on this challenge and nailed him when he joined Aston Martin on four special editions of The Vanquish. Among them, the shooting brake is distinguished as the most beautiful in the group.
Only 99 examples of this superb creation have never been built, and only 11 reached the American coast. The one currently on auction on Bring a trailer is painted in a threatening shade of burning black and has only 3,500 miles (5,632 km) on the clock. When it is new, it brought a sticker price of $ 877,916 – an amazing figure, especially given most of its mechanisms with a standard winner.

Despite the scarcity of the car and its price, these have not yet become vintage cars as many could have expected. In 2024, this same Zagato was sold on Bring a trailer for $ 468,000. At the start of this year, it was sold by Barret-Jackson, recovering $ 440,000 during its Scottsdale auction.
Zagato style, with a practical touch

To transform the vanquish coupe into a shooting brake, Zagato used part of the rear structure of a rapid, allowing it to extend the wheelbase of the car and give it the magnificent shape. The front was revised with a new grille, a separator and daytime fires, while on the sides, new skirts and alloy wheels with five 20 -inch rays.
Zagato’s special keys continue in the cabin with heated and ventilated seats dressed in pure bridge and Tan bridge of the Sahara of spillway leather. There are also z -seams on seat files, lower farms and door panels. Aston Martin also shakes a Bang & Olufsen Beosound audio system and a carpet rear loading area.
Under the hood, the shooting brake is powered by a 5.9-liter natural suction V12 producing 580 hp and 465 lb-ft (630 nm) of torque. It is associated with an automatic transmission with eight speeds and a limited slip differential, sending power exclusively to the rear wheels. No hybrid gadgets, no electric help – just a large engine naturally sucked in to do what it was born.
For anyone on the market for something a little more special than your average Aston, the list you can consult by yourself here is worth a look.
