Electric cars are no longer just a matter of efficiency – they turn into full performance monsters. Of course, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Ultra can have won damage duties by ahead of the Taycan Turbo GT on a few tracks, but are not mistaken: the Porsche lighthouse is always an absolute weapon. Not only does it offer crazy acceleration, but it is just as impressive in braking and manipulation, as the motor trend recently discovered.

During the Taycan Turbo GT test in Weissach Guise Phare, which abandons the rear seats, the motor trend recorded an astonishing time from 0 to 60 MPH (96 km / h) of 1.89 seconds with its typical deployment procedure. This acceleration places the Porsche before a serious elite competition. Braking performance is just as impressive. The Taycan Turbo GT Weissach stopped 60 mph in just 93 feet. And when it is time to recharge, the EV is just as effective, requiring only 19 minutes to go from 5% to 80% using a high -speed charger.

At what price, however?

The example tested had a sticker price of $ 233,395. There is no doubt that it is a lot of money, in particular compared to the $ 94,900 ordered by the Plaid Tesla Model S, although it is more affordable than the Sapphire Lucid Air at $ 250,575.
