  • Skoda has published all the secrets of specification for its new Elroq Vrs.
  • The EUV obtains the 335 hp double -engine motor tab from VW ID.4.
  • Zero at 62 MPH takes 5.4 seconds, and it can charge at 185 kW.

When Skoda revealed his ELROQ electric SUV last October, he omitted to tell us anything about the lovers of version who really care about the Elroq Vrs. But today, we were able to see the Hot Skoda inside and out, and discover that it is the fastest accelerated production car in the company.

The basic ELROQS are delivered with a range of single -engine motor -engine motor groups which amount to 282 hp (286 PS / 210 kW), although an ELROQ 85X with double engine is planned. But the VRS wins its three letters by adopting the double -engine Motopropheur group 335 HP (340 PS / 250 kW) by Sister Brand VW ID.4, which rises on the same Meb architecture.

A time from zero to 62 MPH (100 km for 5.4 seconds makes ELROQ VRS a tenth faster than its Big Brother Eyyaq Vrs, previously the fastest model of the brand. The VR Octavia with gasoline of 261 hp (265 PS) and Kodiaq Vrs are much slower, both need 6.4 seconds to strike the same marker, while the most powerful non-ps Elroq takes 6.6 seconds.

Sprint time halfway through is not particularly folded for a modern performance EV, but just allow you to tease hot listening like the Honda Civic Type R of the Enlightenment. Do not expect to hang around with the Honda when the road becomes winding, with its revised steering, its larger brakes, the DCC adaptive shocks available and its more rigid suspension which dropped 15 mm at the front and 10 mm at the rear, the VR should be more fun than the RWD ELROQ 85.

Visual upgrades include sports black accents on caps, badges and mirror window trim, and wheels measuring up to 21 inches in diameter. But even if the pedestrians do not notice them when you slip, they could notice the soundtrack synthesized. Inside, you get Swedia Microfiber padding with lime green contrast seams, a carbon effect garnish, a perforated leather steering wheel and sports seats with an optional massage function.

If there is a disadvantage of all these ARVs, it is the inevitable reduction of the practice that all electric performance vehicles suffer from their slowest stable comrades using the same battery. In the case of the ELROQ, the battery has a net capacity of 79 kWh and a range of 340 miles (547 km) – not bad, but an ELROQ non VRS 85 edition extends an additional load of 20 miles (32 km), certainly helped by a single engine to lide.

To make amends, the VRS obtains an upgrading of load speed. Depending on the model, the ELROQ invoices at 145, 165 or 175 kW, but the VRS can stop on 185 kW, removing the charging time from 10 to 80% from 28 minutes to 26 minutes.
