- Tesla abandons the launch series of the Y model in favor of a normal finishing program in Europe.
- The electric SUV now offers three finish levels: RWD, RWD long and long -range AWD.
- The prices are very similar and even cheaper in one case, in the outgoing version of the Y model.
Just over a month after launching the Y 2026 model, Tesla deployed the standard range of LIFTED electric crossing in Europe. This marks the end of the short -term launch series Model Y, which has only spent six weeks on the European market. Buyers can now choose from three standard finish levels and personalize features to their liking. As one of the largest parts of Tesla’s success, the Y model and this launch are very important.
“Juniper” Code, the refreshing model brings several upgrades to it, including improved efficiency, redrawn interior, updated suspension adjustment and a refreshed external appearance. It was first put up for sale worldwide, including in the United States, in early January as a fully loaded launch edition based on the long-range AWD version.

This limited edition y model came with almost all the optional options available, from the complete $ 8,000 (supervised) package to all the choices of exterior and interior colors. Although it is always offered in the United States, the launch edition is no longer available in Europe, where Tesla has introduced the standard versions – minus the performance model, which has not yet been published.
Three models to choose
European customers now have three finishing options. The entry -level Y RWD model (rear traction) is at a price of € 44,990 (around $ 46,980), as the previous version. Interestingly, the long -range RWD model costs € 49,990 ($ 52,300), or € 1,000 ($ 1,050) more than its predecessor. Meanwhile, the long -range AWD version is for € 52,990 ($ 55,450), making € 2,000 ($ 2,100) cheaper than the previous version. Could we see a drop in price similar to the United States? It’s hard to say, but it is certainly an encouraging sign.

Pearl White is the only color offered at no additional cost, while other colors start at € 1,300 ($ 1,360). Premium ultra red and Quicksilver shades are at the cost of double this quantity. All fillings are standard with 19 -inch wheels, but 20 -inch wheels are available for long -term models for an additional cost of € 2,200 ($ 2,300).

The basic automatic driver is standard, but the improved automatic driver costs € 3,800 while “the full autonomous driving potential”, which Tesla calls for all self-deputy (supervised) in the United States, costs 7 € 500 ($ 7,850). Those interested in collecting one of these updated YS models can expect delivery in May or June according to Tesla.
And the United States?
Given the almost simultaneous global beginnings of the launch edition, it is likely that Tesla will deploy the standard versions of the Y 2026 model in North America in the coming weeks. This will give us more options to customers and better prices.
Currently, the launch edition is at a price of $ 59,990 before taxes and the federal tax credit of $ 7,500 for those who are eligible. In comparison, the Y pre-facelift model starts at $ 44,990 for the long-range RWD, $ 47,990 for long-range all-range traction and $ 51,490 for AWD performance.
