The Mahindra Scorpio-N was introduced in 2022, becoming instant success with Indian buyers. The self -proclaimed “Big Daddy of SUVS” has now received the blackened stereotypical treatment, which has proven to be popular with car manufacturers around the world when they lack special edition ideas and have become almost a snapshot.
The exterior is exclusively available in a metallic black shade, combined with smoked chrome accents which replace all the brilliant pieces of the standard scopirio-n. The 18 -inch alloy wheels are finished in black of piano, while the roof rails have a dark Galvano finish. Finally, headlights and rear lights have a slightly smoked appearance, contributing to sinister looks.

For the interior, the creators of Mahindra have chosen black leather seats with contrasting seams. The Carbon edition has no real or false carbon fiber bits, rather opting for smoked chrome inserts. The SUV is only available with a configuration with three rows at seven places and is based on the Z8 and Z8L versions with high specification. This means that features such as 8-inch infotainment, the sunroof and the 12-speaker audio system are included as standard.

Both units can be coupled with a six -speed manual or a six -speed automatic gearbox. In the case of the petrol version, the power is transmitted to the rear wheels, while diesel is also available with an optional four -wheeled transmission.
The carbon edition of Mahindra Scorpio-N is evaluated between 19.19,400 ₹ ($ 22,000) and 24,89,099 ₹ ($ 28,500) in India, according to the powertrain. This marks a small bonus of 20,000 ₹ ($ 230) compared to the equivalent versions of the standard Scorpion-N.
The main rival of the SUV on a scale is the Tata Harrier Darrier edition with similar theme, which is based on monoccosk foundations from Land Rover.
