Mercedes will replace unpopular EQE with a more traditional EV EV and it is the first mule test

Mercedes has just announced that she was working on an entirely electric electronic class, and our spy photographers have already caught what seems to be an early mule of the next luxury sedan. To arrive in 2027 in replacement of the rather forgettable equation, this new model promises to look more like a traditional ice class in ice, something a little more familiar for those who have never warmed up on the design of the EQE.
Spotted during cold weather tests, the mule was fully discovered, although intelligently disguised by EQE bodywork to eliminate spies. From a distance, you probably confuse it with another EQE, but a more in -depth inspection reveals some classic mule gifts: the positioning of the clumsy wheel and the extensions of bolted makeshift wings.

Mercedes has promised that the entirely electric electronic class will have a “status” wheelbase. The alignment of the wheel of the mule suggests that it will be shorter than the wheelbase of 3,120 mm (122.8 inches) of the electrical equation, but longer than the figure E of 2,961 mm (116.6 inches) of the current W214 electronic class.
The official teaser shared by Mercedes earlier this month revealed the silhouette of the future class E. The sedan seems to abandon the controversial form of the EQE for more traditional proportions, with a longer hood, a more straight windshield and a stretched rear overhang.
The new design management is the result of a new strategy that will end up visual parity between the EV and Ice Mercedes models. The company has shown another teaser of two sedans covered with sail, with a mysterious bulge on the hood alluding to a new interpretation of the Mercedes ornament or a more pronounced grip of grille. However, it is not yet clear if these models represented the future class E or the new generation S class which will also be available in EV and ice flavors.
Despite the promised visual similarities, the two versions of the E -Class should rise on different foundations. The electric class would occur on the MB.EA platform, while the ice model could keep the existing MRA2 architecture. It is sure to assume that the progress of EV technology will lead to figures of greater range compared to the outgoing EQE which rises on the EVA foundations.

Mercedes also promised that the new electric electronic class would provide “reference noise comfort”. The executive sedan will also adopt the next generation of ADAS giving it road capacities L2 ++ and L3. Finally, you can expect the latest technology in terms of software and connectivity inside the cabin.
The beginnings of the Mercedes electrical electronic class are expected by 2027. At that time, the W214 class fed by ice will have four years, which makes the right time for a major update in mid-life. In the coming years, we expect Mercedes to abandon the mules in favor of the camouflaged prototypes of the electric sedan with the final production body.
