The new VW ID. The buzz is undeniably a very cool bus, and we are really happy that it exists. That said, VW has produced many incredible buses over the decades, some of which are much more interesting than the buzz. This type 2 of 1965 is one of them. And if you are looking for a classic with serious street credibility, it is to be won and ready for a new owner.
Known as 21 Window Deluxe for its impressive table of, you guessed it, 21 Windows, this type 2 is not only a rare discovery – this is an amazing example of the design heritage of VW. With what looks like a complete restoration, this van is probably one of the best preserved examples you meet.

The seller acquired the bus as an unfinished project in 2010 and finished catering, bringing type 2 back to a similar condition. In the early 2000s, the van was exploded by the media and received repairs from rust by the previous owner, which then gave him a great work of red and white paint. Type 2 supply is a 1.9 -liter four -cylinder engine, installed in 2010. Associated with a four -speed manual transaxle, this engine has only accumulated 12,000 miles (around 19300 km) since upgrade, which means that it is barely broken and still has a lot of life to offer.
