- A fire broke out in a Tesla storage field in Seattle, burning four cybertrucks overnight.
- The firefighters contained the fire, but the investigators have not yet determined what caused it.
- The fire comes while Tesla faces reactions on the scale, demonstrations and an increase in security threats nationwide.
Electric vehicle fires are still aroused questions, but when they involve a high -level brand like Tesla, which makes the headlines for all bad reasons in recent weeks, speculation is accelerating quickly. Late Sunday evening, a fire broke out in a Tesla storage field in the Sodo district of Seattle, engulfing which seems to be four new cybertrucks.
According to the Seattle Fire Service (SFD), the fire started around 11 p.m. in an installation of 4th avenue South near South Spokane Street. The firefighters worked quickly to contain the flames, putting control of the situation at 1 a.m. and preventing other damage beyond the four affected vehicles.
Once the flames have been released, the SFD energy response team was called to assess the persistent risks of the lithium-ion battery of cybertrucks, according to a Seattle report King5. Although Tesla has already treated fire -related fire incidents, it is not clear if this particular fire was caused by battery dysfunction or something else.

Independent journalist Jonathan ChoeWho was on the scene of the shooting, asked a firefighter if a criminal fire was suspected. The firefighter replied: “He is too early to say.”
The charred four cybertrucks were quickly transported and investigators are still working to determine what exactly happened.
A Tesla fire at a tense time
Whether this fire is a bizarre accident or something deliberate is unknown at the moment, but what we know is that it happens at a time when Tesla is being examined. Its CEO, Elon Musk, was at the center of controversy, in particular because of its role in the Department of Effectiveness of the Government (DOGE), a Trump administration initiative responsible for sweeping federal layoffs and budget cuts.
These actions have fueled widespread demonstrations among Tesla dealers across the country, and brand stores, charging stations and even private vehicles have become more and more attack targets.
Last week, shots were reported to a Tesla dealership in Tigard, Oregon. Another dealer in Salem saw an arrest for a similar attack. Meanwhile, a man from Boston was accused of plastering Musk Anti-Elon on Teslas Musk stickers, and the authorities think that the criminal fire was behind the lineage of seven compressor Tesla stations in Littleton, Massachusetts-in the space of a single week.
