- It could be a production version of the EV concept inspired by Tacoma 2021.
- It could also be a version of the EPU concept in preview in 2023.
- Toyota praised the truck during the revelation of the new BZ4X and C-HR +.
Electric vans become an increasingly common view, because an increasing number of eco-conscious buyers seek to combine the practical aspect and robustness with no emission. Toyota now teases its own entirely electric collection, although this new model does not seem to be linked to Hilux electricity currently in development for Thailand and Australia.
A single teaser image showing the silhouette of the truck was presented during the Toyota event in Belgium last night, where the company also unveiled the new BZ4X, C-HR + and 2026 Lexus Rz. The mystery pick-up was teased alongside two other toyota models to come, one can be the three-row electric SUV which would have been pushed until 2026.

As indicated by InsideThe pick-up illustrated in this teaser has a double cabin design, unlike the electric Hilux with a single cabin presented in Thailand at that time last year. It also does not seem that the Hilux pile Toyota Hilux prototype tests alongside BHP giant mining in Australia.
One possibility is that the new electric collection developed by Toyota could be a Tacoma EV ready for production, inspired by a concept shown in the world at the end of 2021. But, since the Tacoma signage plaque is not used on European soil, it can indicate to a production version of the 2023 EPU concept, a compact electric picket.

Since we don’t know exactly what we look at, the technical details on a new Toyota potential electric truck remain a mystery. It would eventually be based on one of the brand’s existing platforms and will probably be offered with the same improved electric motors as in the updated BZ4X and the new C-HR +.
While speaking of the three future unidentified models, the president and chief executive officer of Toyota Motor Europe, Yoshihiro Nakata, said: “These three parts (of the EV strategy) will focus on improving the lifestyle of the customer as powerfully as they improve our carbon neutrality objectives.”
