  • Unique fusion of the classic Chevelle style with performance and technologies of modern camaro.
  • More than 2,000 hours spent making body in personalized fiberglass reinforced with carbon fiber.
  • Cabin retains luxury Camaro 2015 2015, including heated seats and the infotainment system.

There is no shortage of modern cars that clumsily slap the vintage aesthetics on contemporary platforms, often ending up with something that looks more like a tribute group than in real business. But for those who really want the modern convenience wrapped in an undoubtedly classic design, there are rarer and much more thoughtful creations. Like this; A completely unique mixture of a 1969 SS Chevelle SS and a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro.

Body exchanges are not so rare these days, but in most cases, the whole body itself ends up grafting on another chassis. Here, however, the approach is a little more precise. Instead of a large exchange, the manufacturer selectively borrowed key panels from the Chevelle. The hood and the grille are the most immediately recognizable, giving the car a clearly vintage face without losing the central structure of the Camaro.

The rear follows the same philosophy, while the four wings have subtly updated proportions to better correspond to the underlying platform of the Camaro. According to the auction list, the manufacturer has devoted more than 2,000 hours to shaping body panels by hand, using reinforced fiberglass with carbon fiber – an extended process that goes far beyond a simple bolted work.

The selective style meets modern performance

Of course, part of the point of building something as it is not losing any luxury of a modern car. Under the hood, it keeps the V8 of 6.2 liters of original, which Mecum lists at 426 hp, despite this private car running an automatic gearbox. It is notable because Chevrolet said at the time that automatic cars would only make 410 hp. Anyway, it is a decent amount of power.

The convertible roof is still working and the cabin is almost the entire Camaro 2015. This means that the next owner will obtain heated and ventilated seats, a centered infotainment system, modern air conditioning, etc. Certain factory features such as the Old-Schoon style gauge cluster are perfectly written with the spirit of all this project.

The manufacturer added two notable keys to the cabin to attach everything together. First, the headrests come from a chevelle. Second, the rear view mirror is also the mirror. This kind of attention to detail is something that the next owner will no doubt appreciate.

People interested in this unique creation should consult the Glendale 2025 event in Mecum. It starts on March 18 and continues until 22. This private car reviews the auction block on Friday, 21. You can consult the full list here If you want to see more.
