- This 964 abandons the PLAT-6, using a 62 kWh pack and an electric motor instead.
- Despite the added weight, 0 to 60 MPH (96 km / h) behaves in less than 4 seconds.
- Electricity 911 claims that it can travel up to 200 miles (320 km) on a single load.
Are the Porsche 911 classics better left intact, with their original charm preserved for posterity? Some would certainly say yes. But, for each purist hanging on this idea, there is a growing crowd fascinated by the RestoMod scene, people who want the emblematic appearance of these cars but who want something more modern under the hood.
Enter Everrati, a company known for its classic electrifying Porsche, which recently unveiled its latest project known as “The Viper Commission”.
The tuner stripped the 911 to its heart, replacing the body panels with a light carbon fiber, which gives the car a much wider position. Then they gave him a new striking layer of Viper Green, associated with black fuchs style wheels and rims in polished silver. To complete the look, they added a duck tail spoiler and updated the headlights.

From the outside, the car looks like any other 964 well modified – Sharp, aggressive and undoubtedly Porsche. But things become interesting when you look below the surface.
The electric power takes over
Unlike your standard 964, the heart of this particular 911 underwent a radical transformation. No more iconic air -cooled engine, replaced by a 62 kWh battery and an electric motor. While Everrati was tight on specific power numbers, they claim that this electric 911 can accelerate to 60 MPH (96 km / h) in less than 4 seconds. Not too shabby for a car that once purred in the streets in gasoline.
According to the British company, the owner of this 911 has a “deep commitment to fight against climate change”, it is therefore logical to be able to abandon the engine for an electric motor. Of course, the addition of a relatively large battery has inevitably added a little weight to the car, and we would be intrigued to know the effect that this has on manipulation dynamics.
As for the interior, Everrati did not lessen on the details. The cabin has been improved with black leather on most surfaces, supplemented by gray stripes and a 12 -hour green band on the steering wheel.
