- An imitator of the police has authorities on alert in Georgia and North Carolina.
- The man uses a black loading dodge with tinted windows and a single emergency light.
- Drivers are invited to call 911 if they think they were arrested by an imitator.
Stopping is never fun, but things in the south have taken a frightening turn while several law enforcement organizations in Georgia and North Carolina warn the drivers of an imitator of the police. The cases seem to be connected and involve a black loading dodge.
The Sheriff’s Bureau of Georgia’s Towns Comté went to social networks last month to alert residents and say that they do not have charger patrol cars. They continued by saying that “unknown individual had been reported in the county of several counties in our region by pulling on cars and approaching citizens who usurped the identity of an agent of the forces of the order”.

There is not much description of the car, but it is a black charger with tinted windows and a single emergency light. The model also has a “tinted tag cover”, which apparently hides their license plate.
We do not know why this particular person pretends to be an officer, but he is described as “small brown hair”. It was also spotted bearing a gray and dark blue uniform as well as a vest that houses a radio and handcuffs.
The Towns County Sheriff’s Office said they took up reports as a “personal attack” against the police community as well as the security of its citizens. They then encouraged the drivers to call 911 if they are arrested by someone they have doubts.
The Sheriff’s Bureau of the Cherokee Cherkee de Caroline du Nord shared a similar warning as a driver was apparently arrested on “US19 just south of NC141”. This was taken over by the Hiawassee police service, which also noted that they did not use Dodge Chargers.
