For those who cannot wait for the warmer and warmer version focused on the 296 track, which would carry the Special Badge versione, Novitec has an alternative: the N-Largo adjustment kit. Designed for owners wishing to compose things before Maranello, this package brings a wider position, a more aggressive style and a more power touch to the electrified supercar.

The Drop-Top 296 GTS N-LARGO follows the beginnings of last year on the 296 GTB N-LARGO based on coupe, bearing the same modifications. Novitec upgrades include a large carbon fiber craft kit, larger wheels, a more sporty exhaust and a subtle increase in power, all supplementing the already powerful rechargeable hybrid.

Written by designer Vittorio Strosek, the N-Largo body makes the 296 GTS wider, the new front and rear wings extending the width of the car of 120 mm (4.7 inches) at the rear. Additional vents and intakes improve the air flow, while the redesigned front bumper obtains a sharper separator and a carbon-exposed carbon cap on an additional flair.

At the rear, the out -of -competition function is the duck tail spoiler, which can be exchanged for an optional fixed rear wing and is supplemented by a new diffuser. The lateral profile has also been refined with redesigned mirrors and Novitec NF11 NL alloy wheels by Vossen. These wheels measure 21 inches at the front and 22 inches on the back, with 72 color options to choose. Inside, Novitec offers extended personalization, with Alcantara and leather padding available in all color.

The chassis was lowered by 35 mm (1.4 inches) thanks to Sports Springs, with an optional front lift system allowing the survival of your carbon fiber separator on speed bumps.

More particularly, Novitec guarantees that the 296 GTS are as ferocious as it seems. The signature exhaust upgrade can be made from incavantication with 999 fine gold plating, leading to two pipes that that decorated with optional carbon fiber rings.

As for the rechargeable hybrid motorcycle group, Novitec increased the output of the Double Turbo V6 of 2.9 liters per 38 hp (28 kW / 38 PS), leaving the electric motor intact. This means that the combined outing of the hybrid unit was hit at 856 hp (638 kW / 868 PS), bringing it closer to its main rival – the Lamborghini Temerario.

Although additional power is welcome, the 296 version of Ferrari 296 Special should surpass the Novitec version with even more important performance. The model set by the factory will probably benefit from weight savings, improvement of aerodynamics and a clearer chassis configuration, all modified directly from Maranello.
