  • The spy photographers captured the first images of the next Ferrari 296 vs.
  • Although it is strongly disguised, we can see a new bumper, a spoiler, a diffuser and wheels.
  • The new model can make its debut in April with more power and less weight than the 296 GTB.

The Ferrari 296 VS was spied on during the test in Maranello, before its beginnings later this year. It is one of the six new models for 2025, although most of the attention has been focused on the next EV of the brand that will make its debut in the fourth quarter.

To return to the 296 vs, the prototype is covered with a bulky costume that makes changes difficult to distinguish. However, we can have an overview of a new front bumper which includes three lower vents on the outer edges.

More: Ferrari 296 lighter, more sporty and more powerful vs in April?

The changes continue further with light wheels that have thin rays covered with adhesive tape. They are saved by a carbon ceramic braking system, which has yellow Ferrari yellow calipers.

The rear seems enough without incident, but it seems that the 296 vs will have a more pronounced spoiler. We can also see the outline of a more aggressive diffuser.

Spy photographers had a brief glance inside, although most of the interior was hidden by camouflage. It is unfortunate, but the changes will probably not be too extensive.

That being said, we can expect the 296 vs to be lighter and more powerful than the 296 GTB. The latter has a 3.0 -liter double turbo V6 which is saved by an electric motor and a battery. This gives the model a combined output of 819 hp (610 kW / 830 PS) and 546 LB-PI (740 Nm) of torque as well as an electric beach only 16 miles (25 km). Most importantly, the coupe can accelerate from 0 to 62 MPH (0-100 km / h) in 2.9 seconds before touching a top speed greater than 205 MPH (330 km / h).
