  • Jeep published new details on the Recon, before its launch at the end of this year.
  • The electric crossover will have all-terrain plans as well as a MOAB garnish noted in a path.
  • Should run on the large Stla platform, the Recon could offer up to 600 hp.

The Recon 4xe 2026 had a cameo in the advertising of the Jeep Super Bowl, so it is not surprising to learn that the company has launched a new dedicated web page. This reveals not only new photos of the next EV, but also a handful of details.

To reach the end of this year, the Reconus promises a “redesigned design” and a “lush interior”. The company has also teased “adaptable freight options, practical capacities and intuitive entertainment features”.

Plus: Jeep Recogné EV has spied on as the electrical evolution of Wrangler

While the Wagoneer is intended for the street, Jeep confirmed that the Recon will have a Moab garnish noted in a path. There will also be an assortment of all-terrain plans which will allow drivers to “follow a path without roads at all”.

Although the Recon and the Wagoneer are intended for different crowds, they will probably share motorcycle groups. This suggests that we can expect a 100.5 kWh battery which feeds a double-engine all-wheel drive system with 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and 524 LB-PI (710 Nm) of torque. There could also be a performance variant with 600 hp (447 kW / 608 PS) and 617 LB-PI (836 nm) of torque. Whatever the final figures, we can expect a range of around 300 miles (483 km).

Recognition was introduced in 2022 and, at the time, the company declared that the model would be “offered exclusively as BEV”. Jeep also noted that the vehicle would have removable doors and an electric roof with a touch.

Other strengths should include a selec-terrain traction management system, a axle-logger technology, protection under the body, towing hooks and aggressive off-road tires. There will also be a UConnect infotainment system which provides “detailed travel guides for the most notable all-terrain trails”.
